Ukraine is ready to offer Belarus “the largest range of cooperation in these or those economic sectors,” as declared President Yushchenko.
He underlined that despite the fact that Ukraine backed OSCE critics concerning elections in Belarus, the relations between the countries would be friendly.
“As for elections in Belarus, our estimations proceed from that there were no special Ukrainian observers, who worked separately. Our observers worked in the composition of OSCE mission and formed a report. I have no grounds not to trust OSCE conclusions. Ukraine supports democratic processes, and this principle is unshakable whatever country is in issue,” said the President in an interview with Komersant newspaper.
