At a press conference in Kyiv, Victor Yushchenko said in three weeks he would meet with shipbuilders in order to formulate a special concept to support some ship-building enterprises. He said the industry had undergone profound positive changes.
“There are enterprises that have orders for the next seven years, enough workers and markets,” he added, President's press office reports.
However, Yushchenko said there were three “crisis-stricken” enterprises requiring serious investment and new initiatives.
“We want to create market motivations for all people working in this industry,” he said.
