Czech Republic to train and employ Ukrainians

This year Czech Republic plans to open its data base of vacancies for Ukrainians, as reported Czech ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Ukraine Ivan Kuleba.

“We managed to make the list of vacancies accessible to everyone,” said he.

Kuleba noted that it is planned to establish institutes of special representatives of Czech Ministry of social policy and Czech Interior Ministry. These institutes will be attached to Czech Consulates in Ukraine and will have access to data bases of vacancies. Representatives will offer vacancies to all comers.

According to Kuleba, Czech Republic is interested in Ukrainian workers, in particular, for agriculture and building.

Besides, Czech Ambassador informed that in 2006 Czech Republic allocated two million korunas (about $90 ths.) for training Ukrainian specialists on bio-fuel production.

“Czechs allocated two million korunas for staff training: from middle to high level, starting from agriculture, in order to teach people to apply new technologies,” said Kuleba.

He also noted that last year Czech Republic gave rape seeds to Ukraine for cultivating them on five thousand hectares. According to the Ambassador, Czech decided to help with corresponding new technologies and specialists.
