Defense Ministry of Ukraine decided to abandon the practice of training military journalists, as declared Defense Minister Anatoly Hrytsenko.
He does not rule out that staff of certain military Mass Medias faces reduction. “These Mass Medias, with few exceptions, work inefficiently and are overstaffed,” explained the Minister.
Hrytsenko considers that in the open society we can rely on professionalism of civil journalists.
He underlined that in such world channels as CNN, Reuters, Al-Jazeera, military events are covered by civil journalists.
Minister also noted that in the course of reformation of military Mass Medias it is needed to form one publishing informational holding, in which informational subdivisions and endowment will be concentrated.
