Naftogaz President Oleksiy Ivchenko states Ukraine will be forced to diversify the gas supply form Turkmenistan.
“Probably, we will refuse to play this game because of the next price increase. It does not make any difference for us where to buy gas: it will cost the same $95in the border between Russia and Ukraine. If we concede to Turkmen gas price increase by more than $50 it will have no sense to continue negotiations on the direct supply of Turkmen gas to Ukraine,” stressed Ivchenko.
Ivchenko added Ukraine “will not concede to any abatements adjoining with humiliation of the country.”
