Russians are not interested in Crimean lighthouses as hydrographic equipment. The sphere of their interest is land, which these lighthouses are situated on, as declared Volodymyr Bezkorovainy, member of subcommittee Ukraine-RF on temporal stationing of RF BSF in Ukraine, in Channel 5 air.
“These lighthouses, as means of navigation security, have no value, but they are situated on the most expensive land of Crimea. So, the fight is not for navigation equipment,” noted Bezkorovainy.
