Victor Yushchenko met with Hanna Severinsen and Renata Volvend, representatives of the PACE Monitoring Committee, to discuss democratic processes in Ukraine, President's press office reported.
The President thanked the PACE speakers for their work and remarked that Ukrainian government was determined to improve Ukraine’s legal system, promote freedom of speech and fight corruption.
In her turn, Ms. Severinsen said Ukraine had undergone democratic changes, pointing out freedom of speech as one of the most obvious achievements.
