Borys Tarasyuk Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine notes that Russia commits considerable violations of the Black Sea Fleet basic agreements and legislation of Ukraine.
He points out that during negotiations with the Russian party Ukraine proceeds from necessity to Russia strictly follow basic BSF agreements and legislation of Ukraine. But, according to Tarasyuk, Russia violates lease, does not want to return Ukrainian navigation and hydrographic equipment, does not follow the environmental regulations of Ukraine.
Besides, Ukraine claims about delay of decision concerning Russia’s participations in social and economic development of Sevastopol and other settlements on the territory of Ukraine, in which the RF BSF bases are located.
Tarasyuk also noted that against a background of delay of important for Ukraine decisions the Russian party strives to extend its legal base for functioning RF BSF on the territory of Ukraine and to solve issues, which do not relate to basic agreements (e.g. replacement and modernization of RF BSF).
Tarasyuk reminded that the Constitution of Ukraine forbids disposition of foreign military bases on the territory of our state.
