Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Baranivsky is sure that Ukraine will manage to agree about supply of dairy production with Russia, as he declared during today’s Cabinet’s session, ForUm’s correspondent informed.

According to Baranivsky, it can be explained by the fact that prices for cheeses have increased by 12%, and Russia is running out of Ukrainian production, purchased earlier.

Baranivsky is certain that it is not lucrative for Russia to purchase dairy production from other countries, as foreign production costs more expensive than Ukrainian one.

“I don’t think Russian government and Russian consumers need this,” added Baranivsky.

Commenting on Moscow’s refusal to receive Ukrainian delegation, Baranivsky said he considers that “they have nothing to say about the cause of the problem, as the reason isn’t economic, but another one.”
