Victor and Kateryna Yushchenko met with Gérard Depardieu. They warmly welcomed the famous French movie star at their family residence in the village of Bezradychi. Then they discussed ways to build cinematographic cooperation between France and Ukraine, the President's press office told.
The Yushchenkos showed their guest a collection of old Ukrainian household utensils. Depardieu was curious about some national traditions. Then he posed for a picture in the typical Ukrainian house and signed the guestbook.
On February 1, the actor will visit the Dovzhenko Movie Studio.
