National oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy may initiate increase of limit price for natural gas for industrial enterprises by 50%.
Naftogaz President Oleksiy Ivchenko declared about necessity of gas price increase for industrial enterprises in an interview to First National TV Channel Wednesday night.
“I think that we need to increase by 50%...as long as the price is low, we won’t force anybody to introduce energy saving technologies,” said he.
Limit price for natural gas for enterprises has already increased by 11.3% since January 1, 2006.
