The resolution dismissed Fuel and Energy Minister Ivan Plachkov and Justice Minister Serhiy Holovaty, Ukrainian Radio told.

The resolution also required the Cabinet of Ministers to dismiss Naftogaz President Oleksiy Ivchenko within next three days. It also directed the Prosecutor General's Office to provide a legal evaluation of Ukraine-Russia gas agreement as well as a legal evaluation of actions done by some state officials who drafted and signed the agreement. It also directed the Prosecutor General's Office to take urgent measures to protect the interests of the country via the courts. The parliamentary resolution also directed the Accounting Chamber to check Naftogaz financial and business operations during the 2004-2005 periods as well as in 2006 and investigate the relationship between Naftogaz and the RosUkrEnergo Company by February 1, 2006. The parliament also charged the Cabinet of Ministers to base all relations with Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan in the gas industry on intergovernmental agreements, which must be ratified by the parliament.
