Ukrainian MFA explained the situation with lighthouses

Buteyko underlined that Black Sea lighthouses are the property of Ukraine and are not to be rented for other countries.

Zatulin, in his turn, pointed out that the agreements signed before means the use of these objects by the Russian Federation.

At the end of the discussion Buteyko noted that the questions concerning Black Sea lighthouses must be solved with the framework of the state commission “Yushchenko-Putin.”

It should be noted that interlocutors behaved tolerantly during the meeting. Anton Buteyko and the presenter were speaking Ukrainian, and Zatulin did not demand an interpreter.
