Further extension of current 8th plenary session could not be ruled out as many events might happen by coming weekend, Verkhovna Rada First Vice Chairman Adam Martynyuk told this a news conference in Kyiv yeaterday, Ukrainian Radio told.
Nevertheless, Martynyuk noted, there are no reasons, for the time being, to prolong the session. As he reminded the journalists, the opening plenary session is itself the extension of the parliament’s proceedings, which were to be over last Friday. In line with the Verkhovna Rada's latest resolution, the eighth Plenary Session will close on January 20. The Parliament's next session will open on February 7.
