January 13, 2006 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft resolution about cancellation of dismissal of Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers. The draft resolution was submitted for registration by MP Yuri Karmazin.
The document offers “to cancel VRU resolution concerning in connection with that the resolution violates article 5,3,1. part 1 of VRU regulations and article 87 part 1 of the Constitution of Ukraine.”
The document will come in force from the moment of its adoption by the Parliament.
VR Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn considers the cancellation of the resolution unreal, as he declared after the Conciliatory council session, ForUm’s correspondent reported.
“I don’t think that the VRU can pass a resolution and in few days - absolutely contrary one,” said the Speaker.
According to him, a complex approach is needed for solution of this difficulty. “We can pretend that there was no resolution, and some of the deputies are going to do this, but the resolution has been passed and has come into force,” said Lytvyn.
The Speaker considers that the most appropriate variant is to provide support to the Cabinet in the Parliament, but on condition of certain staff change in the government.
