Foreign Minister Ilinka Mitreva met Thursday with newly appointed ambassadors of Croatia and Ukraine to Macedonia, Ivan Kujundzic and Vitaly Moskalenko, the Agency of Information reports.
Ambassador Kujundzic pointed out the traditionally good relations and exceptional cooperation between Croatia and Macedonia, adding that his country would continue to enhance prior cooperation in the field of EU and NATO integration. Furthermore, Kujundzic emphasized that one of his main tasks would be further development of bilateral economic and commercial relations.
Ukrainian Ambassador Moskalenko conveyed greetings from country's foreign minister Boris Tarasyuk on occasion of Macedonia's EU candidate status. Moskalenko stressed that his engagement in Macedonia would focus on economic cooperation and implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries.
Minister Mitreva wished the two ambassadors success in their work, emphasizing the principle of solidarity, friendship and cooperation in the relations with Croatia and Ukraine and invited again her colleagues, ministers Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic and Boris Tarastyuk, to visit the Republic of Macedonia.
