Serhiy Holovaty, dismissed
today from the post of Minister of Justice of Ukraine, declares that the
Parliament does not have power to form a new government yet.
“For the moment, the
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
isn’t authorized to form a new government,” said Holovaty. He noted that, in
accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Parliament can form a
government only on basis of parliamentarian coalition, which is to be formed during
a month after the first sitting of a new-appointed parliament. In this connection,
today’s decision to dismiss the government is legally absurd, as pointed out
former Minister.
Holovaty also noted that
Ministers and Premier would work as full-fledged government till the
appointment of a new government after the parliamentary elections.
