In the meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Stefan Meller President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko stresses that he is satisfied with the agreement on gas issue and reckons the incident is settled.
“In the nearest time the relations with Russia will be fundamentally improved,” said Yushchenko.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the items of regional cooperation and joint energy projects. In particular, the building of new gas pipeline via Ukraine and gas consortium was under discussion.
The head of the exterior department of Poland noted that “Warsaw will intensify the questions of energy market regulating and discussion of this issue in the EU.”
