Ukraine tops the list of the unhappiest countries of the world
The happiest people live in Malta, and the unhappiest people in the world live in Zimbabwe and Ukraine, as according to the results of the new research, annually performed by a professor of a University in Rotterdam, Holland. The professor prepares a popular world “index indicating the level of satisfaction with one’s own life.”
The first place of the list is held by the Mediterranean island Malta, 74% of the population of which consider themselves happy. Then goes Denmark, Switzerland and Columbia – 73%.
The next group of countries includes Spain, Ireland and Netherlands. The list of the top ten is concluded by Canada, Finland and Ghana. The share of happy people makes 60% of the total population there.
Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Moldova and Ukraine hold the lowest positions. The share of happy people is less then 20% in these countries, ITAR-TASS reports.
