“On Christmas Eve, each family symbolizes the big Ukrainian family. On this day, we acutely sense the all-conquering power of love. Only love, mutual help and support can save the world. On this day, a light fire of kindness and mercy burns in our hearts,” Victor Yushchenko said in his Christmas greeting.
The President noted that he wanted all Ukrainians to rejoice and witness a great miracle.
“May all houses be warm and cozy. May Christmas make your faith in the upcoming day stronger and fill your hopeful hearts with love and joy. Merry Christmas! I wish you great carols and tasty kutya! May all your dreams come true! Jesus Christ is born! Let us praise him!”
