The leader of the Party of Regions Victor Yanukovich rejects Timoshenko’s charges of creation of corruption scheme of gas supply from Russia and Turkmenistan through RosUkrEnergo.
“I want to say unambiguously that we bear no relation to the crisis of gas supply in this year. We were responsible for the gas contract in the last year and we do have directly bearing on it. In my opinion at least it is wrong to discredit someone and to relieve present authorities of responsibility.
The leader of the Party of Regions states that when a premier minister, Timoshenko knew about RosUkrEnergo. “When Timoshenko was PM of Ukraine why did not Timoshenko tell about it? Turchinov stated it had been well-known fact I the middle of the current year. By the way, Timoshenko said she had told President Yushchenko about it, but he had asked her not to meddle with this question,” added Yanukovich.
