For now Ukraine accomplished almost all tasks, required for the WTO joining, as declared Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Minister of Economy, during today’s press conference.
“We can state that we have practically accomplished all necessary procedures concerning the WTO joining. China - the main partner, apart from the USA, - has signed a protocol with us,” said the Minister.
According to him, the reason Ukraine has not decided similar issues with US is that “not all proposals, offered by the American side, are acceptable to Ukraine.”
“We do not want to come back (from US – ed.) with big order and signed protocol, but to hide our eyes in front of the Ukrainian people and Ukrainian industry,” told Yatsenyuk.
He noted that Ukraine is conducting “very active negotiations” with US colleagues, and unsolved problem will be removed in near future.
