Within the next three-four months Ukraine intends to make up full inventory of Russian Black Sea Fleet, based in Crimea, as reported Volodimir Ohryzko, deputy Foreign Minister, during today’s press conference.
The diplomat pointed out that we should not mix gas relations between Russia and Ukraine with stay of Russian Fleet on the territory of Ukraine.
“These are different things,” said Ohryzko.
He informed that Ukraine had already conducted “certain revision in Sevastopol, where the RF Black Sea Fleet is based.” Following the revision it was detected a number of violations of bilateral agreements by the Russian side.
In particular, the matter concerns the use of prohibited hydrographic navigation equipment, illegal use of sites, which are not included into the list of leased objects, violation of ecological norms in area of water of Sevastopol bay.
Ohryzko reported that the meeting of special subcommission, formed with the framework of intergovernmental commission “Yushchenko - Putin”, would take place in the near future. “At least 20 questions concerning the RF Black Sea stay on the territory of Ukraine will be discussed during the meeting,” added he.
