Indices of socio-economic development for a year are very contradictory, as declared Yuri Yekhanurov, PM of Ukraine, during the meeting with representatives of regional Mass-Medias.
“On the one hand we have slump in gross domestic product, reduction of investment activity, level of inflation, which we do not satisfy with, violation of the main macroeconomic balances, increase of Pension fund deficit,” explained Yekhanurov.
On the other hand, as Ukrainian PM considers, financial results of the government’s work are “absolutely normal.” He noted that more active dialogue between power and business was observed second half year.
According to Yekhanurov, legal approach to settlement of legal matters and “ending of hysteria concerning re-privatization” also furthered calming of the situation in the county and influenced positively the economic indices.
