“The draft budget for 2006 is pretty well-balanced in all directions, including the agrarian sector of economy,” said Mykola Odaynyk, member of NSNU party Council.

“There were numerous political speculations around the agrarian sector during the long discussion of the budget draft. Certain groups and factions demanded more money for village. The main demands of MPs were reflected in the document. But some political forces continue to insist on new demands, though they know well that there is no money for that. By the way, it is worth mentioning that the draft budget 2006 allocates so much money to the agrarian sector as three previous governments never did,” MP noted.

“The agrarian sector is waiting for a new budget. If the draft is not adopted, it is a political reason,” said Mykola Odaynyk.
