The Ukrainian population won't suffer from any fluctuations of gas prices, Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov told journalists, in response to the question whether Ukraine is going to agree on gas price of 160 or 220 USD.
As he said, there definitely will be a differentiation of gas for private, municipal and industrial gas consumers. As he added, Ukraine has 20 bn. cu. m. of its own gas and he stated his belief that the population won't feel any changes for now.
The Ukrainian Premier denied likelihood of Ukraine's rising prices for gas transit in response to rise in price for the Russian gas, as under contracts that figure is clearly fixed.
