It is planned to erect the memorial to Famine and political repressions victims in Dnipropetrovs’k, as informed the main architect of the Dnipropetrovs’k region Ihor Sokolov.
The city building council has supported the project of the memorial complex developed by the creative group headed by the sculptor Harnyk Hachatryan, member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists.
The memorial to Famine and political repressions victims will occupy 2.6 hectares.
The approximate value of the project makes 600 - 800 thousand hryvnas. The major part of the means will be allocated from the budget of the Dnipropetrovs’k region.
