The Ukrainian Minister of Finance Viktor Pynzenyk considers that the state budget for 2006 has not been approved due to political but not economical reasons, as he told journalists on Thursday, December 15, after the Verkhovna Rada session, during which the draft bill of the state budget for 2006 was rejected.
Pynzenyk underlined that before the VR session started the “uneasy compromise” had been found between the government project of the budget and the proposals of the Parliament Budget committee.
Ludmyla Suprun, the acting head of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee also expresses a thought that the refuse to adopt the state budget - 2006 was motivated by political reasons.
“The desire of blood has overweighed the common sense. I think the budge wasn’t approved exclusively due to the political motives”, she said.
