After the conference of the Chief Frontier Representatives, Ukraine’s Colonel-General Mykola Lytvyn and Poland’s Colonel Myroslav Kushmerchak signed the agreement on cooperation of law enforcement departments.
The participants of the conference marked the huge volume of successful work done by the officials of joint section of Ukrainian-Polish frontier. They seized smuggling goods totally valued at $4.4 million, prevented 592 cases of illegal migration and detained 2,500 persons by different reasons. The number of check-points constantly grows.
