Today US Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst has held the press conference “The Conditions of Development of Hypothec in Ukraine: The Strategy for the Future.”
John Herbst supported the creation of hypothecary and hypothec market in Ukraine. He is confident it will let Ukraine reach the world credit resources. The hypothec will be useful for agrarian section of Ukraine’s economy, Mr. Herbst said.
“The real hypothec market will not work properly without corresponding statutory and legal basis,” stressed US Ambassador. So, he on behalf of the USA expressed hope that the members of Ukrainian parliament would pass the act on hypothec without usual stumbles.
The President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko sent the letter to the Conference which reads about “extraordinary importance of the hypothec for Ukraine.”
