“Community of democratic choice” Forum is a dialogue between friends and supporters of democracy and supremacy of law, as declared President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko in his opening address, ForUm’s correspondent reported.
The President pointed out that the community counts on the support of OSCE, CEA (Common Economic Area – ed.), Council of Europe and the leading countries.
In his turn, President of Romania Basescu mentioned that Romania welcomes the Forum’s initiative.
“Romania is ready to share its experience, gained during democratization process,” underlined Basescu and reminded that Romania is NATO member and soon will become the member of European Union.
Besides, President of Romania pointed to the Transdnestrian problem, which “must be solved immediately.”
