Monday, November 28, speaking about necessity to fight against corruption, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko promised a new wave of mass dismissals.
“We will change thousands of people. We acknowledge that sometimes we didn’t hit the mark, but it is normal thing,” said Yushchenko.
Head of the State declared that instead of removed officials it is planned to appoint “new people, whose moral principles do not allow them to accept bribes.”
As a reminder, 18 thousand people have been dismissed during Yushchenko’s period of office.
