President Igor Smirnov has come to Ukraine with the informal visit in order to celebrate a jubilee of Ukrainian Orthodox Church Patriarch Vladimir the Blessed.
He told about preparation to the parliamentary elections in his unrecognized Republic.
President Smirnov has impugned the statement about Transdniestrian region is supposedly famous smuggling centre.
“They say, we are the black hole, the weapon smugglers and the human traffickers. Do not pay attention on such lie. Ukraine officially had checked and then declared that there was not any smuggling. Quite the contrary, the frontier with Moldova is the thing of the primary concern for us,” said Smirnov.
He also mentioned since December 1, the EU experts would launch the custom control.
