“We long for Ukraine to be a part of Europe,” stressed with a single heart Ukrainian cultural workers.

Ukrainian delegation consisting of Dmitry Gnatyuk, Ruslana Lyzhychko, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Les Tanyuk, Oleg Skrypka, Oleg Pinchuk and other cultural workers came back home after the visit to Brussels NATO Information Centre.

“I am an artist and perceive some things very emotionally. We were so glad to hear as NATO’s representatives spoke Ukrainian. It means that we are taken seriously as a nation,” stressed Oleg Skrypka. In his opinion, Ukraine’s membership in NATO will destroy post-Soviet myths about “Bandera and the great role of the Red Army.”

Ukrainian delegation conducted the negotiations on the partnership between the country and NATO.
