About three thousand men gathered in Maydan in Kyiv, where the official celebrations on the occasion of the “orange revolution” anniversary would be held.
People are holding orange flags “Tak, Yushchenko!”, symbols of Socialist Party and Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko, Timoshenko’s portraits.
The majority of comers declared that they specially arrived in Kyiv for participation in the celebrations. Citizens of the capital are in much less number – Kiev dwellers are hurrying up to work, there are no orange ribbons in the streets and on cars. Today’s atmosphere differs from the last year’s one and hardly resembles a holiday.
