Vice Prime Minister on regional policy Roman Bezsmertny considers that the pledge of victory on the forthcoming parliamentary elections and realization of “Maydan ideals” is integration of NSNU and BYuT.

“Political council of our party decided to charge the governing body of the party to enter into negotiations with Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko and to offer the formation of such bloc,” declared Bezsmertny on today’s press conference, ForUm’s correspondent reported.

As for exclusion of Poroshenko, Martinenko and Tretyakov from the party as a term of integration, Bezsmertny said “we are ready to discuss it, if negotiations start.”

Bezsmernty also reminded his position concerning Yulia Timoshenko’s office and stressed that Timoshenko should not hold the post of PM.

“Talent of Yulia Vladimirovna should be used in another place, but not on the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine,” pointed out Bezsmertny.

At the same time, he noted that failing the agreement between NSNU and BYuT, “a certain non-aggression document should be signed between those forces, which were the part of the bloc “Sila Naroda” (People’s force) before and which would come to the Parliament independently.

Bezsmertny also mentioned that Victor Yushchenko would not form a coalition with Victor Yanukovich.

“I do not see any possibility of negotiations (concerning coalition – ed.) between our party and Party of Regions even after the elections,” said Vice PM.
