Party of Regions and "New democracy" agreed about integration on the
basis of individual entering of "New democracy" members the Party of
Regions.
The agreement was signed by Evgeny Kushnaryov, Secretary General of "New democracy", and Victor Yanukovich, leader of Party of Regions, during today's II convention of "New democracy" party in Kyiv.
267 delegates took part in the convention. The decision about integration was made unanimously.
November 12 Yanukovich declared that Party of Regions decided to unite with the party "New democracy". According to him, they are conducting negotiations with other parties, and "even if we do not manage to unite with them juridically, we shoul join hands ideologically."
