President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko points out that he dismissed Svyatoslav Piskun from the office of Prosecutor General in full accordance with the norms of Constitution of Ukraine.
“According to Constitution of Ukraine, appointment and dismissal of Prosecutor General is in full competence of the President, and I acted in accordance with the letter and spirit of the Ukrainian Constitution exclusively,” declared Yushchenko to journalists.
