The draft bill “On changes to a number of Acts of Ukraine (concerning maximum salary, which insurance contributions are added on)” has been submitted for consideration in the Verkhovna Rada today.

MPs rejected the bill draft – only 107 deputies voted for it, while 226 votes are necessary, ForUm’s correspondent reported.

Petr Tsibenko, member of Communistic Party faction, appeared as the reporter on this document.

Offering the bill draft, Tsibenko said “we tried to give possibility to the ‘orange’ power to fulfill its pre-election promises – ‘the rich will share with the poor’. As they do not want to share, we decided to help them to start wanting.”

During the consideration of the bill draft MP Yaroslav Sukhov accused the government of uneven and dishonest distribution of salaries.

“It was you who fouled up here. So, take a rag and clean after yourself, because it smells all over Ukraine!” pointed out the deputy.

After the deputies rejected the bill draft, Communists blocked the tribune, and VR Speaker Vladimir Litvin was forced to bring up the same issue for voting. However, the initiative of the Communists was not supported by the parliamentarians, having gained only 193 votes.
