Vitaly Shevchenko, Head of National TV and Radio Council, has resigned today. He declares that he does not understand the present state policy in TV and Radio space, Council's press office reported.
According to Shevchenko, the main reason of resignation is unwillingness from the side of the state authorities to fulfill their pre-election promise – to form Public TV in Ukraine.
Vitaly Shevchenko was appointed the Head of National TV and Radio Council April 12,2005.
