Russia will keep the same volume of oil supply for Ukraine. The agreement regulating the oil supply was reached at the negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian governmental delegations headed by Fuel Ministers Victor Khristenko and Ivan Plachkov.

In 2006 Russia may reserve 22 million tonnes of oil products for Ukrainian oil refinery plants; it makes the same volume as in 2005. The transit of oil will remain the same, a participants of the negotiations told.

On November 14 in the meeting of the International Consortium on Management and Development of Gas System of Ukraine Ltd Ivan Plachkov was elected as the Chairman of Ukraine-Russia Gas Consortium.

The participants of he meeting considered the technical and economical indexes of Bogorodchany-Uzhgorod pipeline. It launched the first stage of the investment phase of the Consortium’s activity.
