In online-conference the President’s Press Secretary Irina Gerashchenko commented on dropping in President’s rate. According to her, Victor Yushchenko often must neglect his rate and make unpopular decision.
“I constantly think of President’s rate. The public persons must make unpopular decisions sometimes. And when President Yushchenko faces the choice between his popularity and the right but downright unpopular decision, as a rule he chooses the second,” stressed Gerashchenko adding President’s rightfulness would be proved with time.
