The US attorney Richard Hibey appeals to international remedial organization to launch independent investigation of the Kolesnikov case. As a reminder, Richard Hibey substituted for Andrey Fedur when hehad been removed from the legal defence of the Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Boris Kolesnikov.
According to Hibey, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko should charge corresponding agencies to form a committee consisting of independent investigators, attorneys and representatives of organizations protecting human rights.
To Hibey’s mind there is “an abyss between Kolesnikov’s guiltlessness and corrupted Ukrainian legal establishments.” “Taking into account emergency situation the Kolesnikov case demands extraordinary measures,” stressed Richard Hibey.
Ukrainian attorney Andrey Fedur emphasized the necessity of civil control of law enforcement agencies.
