Victor Yushchenko has met with Coal Minister Victor Topolov to discuss all problems in the coal industry.
They considered ways to finance it and preparations the Ministry was making to privatize coal enterprises. Topolov assured the Head of State he was executing his order to pay off multi-million debts to miners. He said in the beginning of 2005 the state had owed them 280 million UAH, and now this figure was only 12 million UAH, the official web-site of Ukraine's President told.
