Victor Yushchenko has sent a letter to Verkhovna Rada, urging parliamentarians to immediately approve necessary bills to join the World Trade Organization, the President’s press office told.
He wrote, “One of the key tasks to prepare Ukraine for WTO membership is to adapt our legislation to all WTO requirements.”
The bills concern consumer rights, customs procedures, export duties, quarantine restrictions, and banking activity.
