Victor Yushchenko has met with Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov

The Premier informed the President of his recent visit to the United States. Yekhanurov had conducted talks with several U.S. officials and business leaders to discuss waysto join the WTO and get a market economy status, the President’s press office told.

Then Yushchenko and Yekhanurov discussedmechanisms to rationally use funds received at the Kryvorizhstal auction. The Premier said the cabinet would hold a special meeting on this issue to formulate optimal programs. The President suggested they should consider all opinions of experts and non-governmental organizations before making any decision to use the funds.
