President Victor Yushchenko had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Sali Berisha of Albania.
They discussed a wide range of questions on bilateral cooperation. President Yushchenko stressed that Ukraine wanted to activate trade-economic cooperation between the two countries.
They also discussed potential joint projects in the energy sector and agreed that the Albanian energy minister would visit Ukraine on November 4 to meet with his counterpart. Yushchenko and Berisha also broached the subject of regional cooperation and EU integration.
