Ukraine expects Belarus to hold democratic elections, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov declared in Washington Carnegie Fund.
“We would like Belarus to hold democratic elections and to become a serene neighbor with whom we mutually understand each other,” mentioned Yekhanurov.
According to his words, Ukraine must keep a dialogue with Belarus. “We have normal trade ties,” added him.
As a reminder, the next Belarusian presidential elections are to conduct not later than in the middle of July, 2006.
