Indefatigable Ukrainian victualler Rita Sichkar organized action which was the novelty for Ukraine. Taking into account the experience of different countries where the cow, horse and elephant parades are held time after time. Rita Sichkar initiated Pig Parade in Kiev. Fourteen pigs were made by exclusive technology especially for the action. Pigs were appeared to be rather fat – 200 kg each of them.
Famous Ukrainian artists, showmen and singers were asked to paint these park sculptures.
On October 28, the pigs were sold out by the charitable auction. All funds were given to Kryviy Rig orphan asylum.
