President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko was presiding over a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
In his opening statement, the Head of State said they would discuss ways to join the WTO, observe property rights, fight corruption and legalize the economy.
Speaker Volodymir Litvin, Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov, NSDCU Secretary Anatoly Kinakh, National Bank Chairman Volodymir Stelmakh and several cabinet members are present at the meeting.
